I decided to write this article to encourage newbie bloggers just like me who might be on the verge of giving up or frustrated with too many conflicting information. Be careful of how much pressure you put your self through. Blogging is supposed to be fun if it ain’t fun then, it’s definitely not worth your time, energy and peace of mine! Agreed it requires efforts and it is time consuming but will most certainly pay off someday!
When it comes to first-time bloggers, issues like fear is ignored and this is wrong, confront those fears and get rid of them, you can spend more time researching as you plan your next post.
Of course, most people will frown at the sheer drop of site visits on their blogs even when they have been consistently posting great contents. I am new myself but there is a huge difference between when I started and now. I am thankful to God for that.
Still wondering where this is all going?
Patient, we will get to the point.
When you look around, you can’t help but notice some blogs with fewer contents and not so good contents even so they still record more site visits than your blog even when you have put in all you’ve got and have spent days and weeks working on your posts plus a sleepless night. when you finally review your stats you are shocked to see one like and 2 views only and some days no site visits at all, this is an undeniable truth. Sure it hurts I know.
You may be doing it all wrong or may not be doing anything wrong at all but all the same, you should give it time and run a little research on SEO and Keywords etc.
As said, you have nothing to worry about, just keep on doing what you do, as long as you have the passion, someday you will smile. If you must invest your time, do it in learning the tricks of successful blogging! I am doing just that too.
Improve your SEO, keywords etc.
I am sure you are familiar with this title all over the internet. Currently, there are lots of great stories out there of successful bloggers who make money by simply blogging.
Can I make money on a free blogger or WordPress.com site?
Yes, indeed it is very possible to earn income with a free Blogger and WordPress. I have done both and the only difference is that on blogger you can put google ads if you have an Adsense account and on WordPress, you have other tools, like linking to sites where you get a commission for sales-(Affiliate links) or when a person buys from the links you included. But most importantly you can only make money when people visit your site and find your contents interesting and engaging, they may decide to buy from your site. You can also add your own product that you wish to sell through your website as well in addition to using Adsense.
Both blogger and WordPress can get a lot of visits for you to earn from them, the more visits you get the more chances that someone will click on something on your blogs like an ad or a link to the product and it varies a lot how much you can earn. If you put a lot of time in adding a lot of good quality posts to your blog then you will surely grow and earn a lot from it.
Use the social media to your advantage and share your new posts and website.
Here is my personal assessment blog check (Feel free to use it!) but do your research and understand your content and audience.
1-Are you addicted to checking your sites stat?
Avoid the urge to check on your sats every now and then, as it might play a major role in discouraging your efforts.
2-Have you optimized your site speed and is it mobile friendly?
This is a good way to improve your site
3-Do you wonder who is online reading your posts?
Everyone is guilty of this even the biggest names out there, otherwise, how would you even know what will please your audience. So it a good way to encourage your audience by posting more richer contents.
4-What are Meta tags?👩💻

5-Does your content contain external links? ✓
This is another way to improve your site, I will recommend commenting on other bloggers blog but look for blogs with a “Do-follow” link.
6-What is “Do-follow”?
You are welcome to use my blogspot link it has a dofollow option- According to Google -By default, all links are dofollow links unless they are modified to be nofollow links manually or are automatically changed by a website setting. Search engines crawlers follow dofollow links. Dofollow links pass along what the SEO community commonly calls “link juice.” Links are a vote for quality- Sadly some blogs set their links to “nofollow”.
7- What is “Nofollow”
Especially for newbies who are new to SEO or people who are still not clear about Nofollow or dofollow, this post will be useful. Did You Know? Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index.
8-How do I find a Nofollow link?
Method 1Using Source Code
Right-click on the document you wish to inspect.
Select “View page source”. Alternatively, right-click on the link you wish to inspect. Click on “Inspect element” in order to view the source. Press ctrl+f to open a search box. Type in “nofollow” and press enter.
Have you ever wondered why you often leave numerous comments on a fellow bloggers post but they end up never reciprocating?. This is a general problem, I don’t know if it’s laziness or pride, it’s just plain unfair! If not one is speaking about it, well, I will. Most blog posts will tell you that commenting on other blogs will get you noticed and will bring them to your site this is true but %95 the blogs you comment on will only just give you alike which isn’t bad at all, but how about reciprocating what wrong with that?. I started a post on twitter concerning this particular issue. I don’t believe it is right to simply ignore a fellow struggling blogger, you were once a newbie too.The Post on Twitter
This is also SEO friendly, it’s useful, so get to work and don’t forget to include alt tag text to your images for SEO and search engines.
